It shouldn’t come as a surprise that Kness is a company strongly committed to both product quality and community service. Our team has made a strong vow to increase our efforts in giving back to our community and to our country.

The Kness organization employs about 40 people. Many of whom have been with the company more than 15 years while some have worked for the family-owned business more than 30 years. Like our employees, Kness is also committed to its long-time customers. We support them, and we also support the town of Albia, Iowa.

We are proud to partner with various outreach efforts, including working with dependent adults who help assemble some of our products. These programs play a critical role in the assembly process of our traps. We provide work and a sense of accomplishment to an underserved segment of the population who can take pride in earning their own paycheck.

What once was a one-man operation has become a global success story. We are proud to continue in the footsteps of our founder and we are committed to providing our customers with high quality, pro grade products, made with care, right here in America’s Heartland.

“It is part of our corporate culture to give back to the community, it’s a reflection of our company’s values. We are very proud to be serving the community.”

We donate to various fundraising efforts at Kness, including working with non-profits like the Welcome Home Soldier Monument. While the monument is located outside of Albia, the purposes is beneficial to the public interest, specifically for the erection and maintenance of a public monument of national magnitude to honor all United States Veterans, living or deceased.
