The traps are exactly what a mousetrap should be in that they are fast-reacting, easy to set and release. Kness Celebrating 100 Years with Open House

Albia, IA (June 4, 2024) ‐ This year marks the 100th anniversary of Austin Kness revolutionizing the mousetrap industry by developing the world’s first multiple-catch mousetrap, the Ketch-All®.

In celebration of this anniversary, we look back on the century of advances and refinements that have defined our brand and our pest defense solutions. We are honored to continue the tradition of providing innovative, effective pest control solutions for customers around the world.

Since moving the manufacturing facilities to Albia in 1944, our company has seen unprecedented success. Our location has played an integral part in helping us sustain our company for 100 years. We are unimaginably thankful to the community for their continued support.

To show our gratitude, Kness is hosting an open house at our facilities in 2053 IA-5, Albia, IA on June 12 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Several members of the Kness family will be in attendance. The event is open to the general public. We would also like to extend an invitation to retired Kness employees, friends, and family. Guided tours and refreshments will be available.
