Kness Unveils Limited Edition Snap-E® Mousetrap To Help Raise Funds for Welcome Home Soldier Monument

Kness' limited edition patriotic-themed Snap-E® Mousetrap will help support the Welcome Home Soldier Monument.

Albia, IA (October 5, 2021) – Kness Manufacturing recently unveiled a limited edition patriotic-themed Snap-E® Mousetrap. The unique trap will help raise funds and awareness for the ambitious Welcome Home Soldier Monument project, located near the company’s home city of Albia, Iowa. A small production run of the “Welcome Home Soldier” Snap-E traps have been made for various fundraising efforts, including a local auction on November 13th. All proceeds will be donated to the Welcome Home Soldier Monument.

This limited-edition product features two red, white, and blue multicolored Snap-E Mousetraps, paying homage to the great sacrifices that our nation’s veterans have made. The packaging is also one-of-a-kind. Mirroring the traps’ star-spangled color scheme on the outside, this display also brings attention to the humbling and inspiring imagery of the Welcome Home Soldier Monument. On the inside cover of the packaging is the story of the monument’s beginnings, its mission, and how it serves to immortalize the service of U.S. veterans.

“We are very proud to support and recognize our veterans in this special way. Finding ways to give back and invest in our community is a part of who we are as a company and a team.,” said Dan Crew, General Manager of Kness Manufacturing. “The Welcome Home Soldier Monument is near and dear to all of our hearts here at Kness.”

The Welcome Home Soldier Monument is spread out across eight acres of land on Highway 34 (designated by the state of Iowa as the Red Bull Highway in honor of the 34th Infantry “Red Bull” Division), just west of Albia. This public monument of national magnitude honors all of the U.S. veterans, both living and deceased.

Kness Manufacturing donates to various fundraising efforts and partners with several non-profits. One of the most successful partnerships has been with vocational rehabilitation groups, providing employment opportunities to dependent adults.
